Adam Wepfer will travel with the agronomists from the North Central Region.  He is a junior studying soil science with an emphasis in turfgrass management at the University of Wisconsin - Madison under the guidance of Dr. Doug Soldat.   

            As a child, Adam worked with his father who was an assistant golf course superintendent at the time.  When he turned 16, he secured a job at a local country club and officially began his career in the turfgrass industry.  Adam did his first summer internship at Winged Foot Golf Club (Mamaroneck, NY) and plans to do another internship this summer at Erin Hills Golf Course (Erin, WI).

            Upon graduation in May 2013, Adam plans to obtain an assistant superintendent position, and one day become a golf course superintendent.
