James Bryson will intern in the Green Section’s Mid-Atlantic Region.  James is a junior at Delaware Valley College under the advisement of Dr. Doug Linde.

            A native of Atco, NJ, James became interested in turfgrass management at the age of 12 while mowing lawns around his neighborhood.  At the age of 17, he joined the grounds crew at Pine Valley Golf Club (Pine Valley, NJ) and, from there, made his decision to pursue a turfgrass management degree in college.  James also interned at The Creek Club (Locust Valley, NY) during the summer of 2011.     

            Along with traveling with the Green Section this summer, James will intern at Merion Golf Club (Ardmore, PA).  He plans to graduate in May 2013 and become a golf course superintendent.
