Rick Anderson, PGAPGA/USGA Workshop on the Rules of Golf

Rick has been the Director of Golf at the Atlanta Athletic Club since March 1, 1989 and is in his 30th year in this position. He was originally trained by Jack and Harold Sargent who were world renowned Rules experts of their time and former Head Golf Professionals at the Atlanta Athletic Club. He has been a PGA Professional for 39 years and became a Master Professional in 2007.  Rick has been the host Professional to five Major Championships including two PGA Championships, a U.S. Women’s Open, a U.S. Junior Amateur and a U.S. Amateur Championship. Since joining the PGA Rules Committee he has officiated at numerous tournaments both at the State and National level. He has served as a rules official for 19 PGA National Championships including the 2010 PGA at Whistling Straits, the 2015 PGA Cup Matches and the 2016 PGA Championship at Baltusrol.
