Kimberly Erusha, Ph.D.

Green Section

Dr. Erusha is the Director of Education for the USGA Green Section. She is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Green Section's educational programs pertaining to the results of its turfgrass and environmental research programs and its other environmental activities. These efforts include the development of educational materials directed at golf course superintendents, regulatory officials, legislators, environmental organizations and the public at large.
She travels extensively representing the USGA Green Section on various committees, and speaking on behalf of the Green Section's programs and activities. She also serves as associate editor of the Green Section Record, a bi-monthly magazine dealing with turfgrass science and golf course management.
Prior to joining the USGA in 1990, Dr. Erusha received her B.S. degree from Iowa State University. She completed her Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Horticulture, specializing in turfgrass management, at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Erusha is a native of Walford, Iowa.
