Laura Erdman has been a member of the Grants and Fellowship team since 2005.
During her two-year tenure as a USGA Fellow, Erdman served programs in the North
Central Region. She also held leadership roles in the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, Kids
on Course, New Fellow Recruitment and Selection, and Communications outreach
programs.
Erdman's introduction to the game of golf came through six seasons on the maintenance
staff at Hobbit's Glen Golf Club in Columbia, Md., her hometown. She is a magna
cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, where she majored in English
and completed a minor in Spanish.
Erdman is responsible for facilitating the USGA Grants Initiative. She also continues

that all people should have an opportunity to experience the joy of golf and
the values inherent in the game.
