She also held leadership roles in the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, Kids on Course, New Fellow Recruitment and Selection, and Communications outreach programs.

Erdman's introduction to the game of golf came through six seasons on the maintenance staff at Hobbit's Glen Golf Club in Columbia, Md., her hometown. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, where she majored in English and completed a minor in Spanish.
