In
2001, the USGA made a commitment to the industry-wide GOLF 20/20
Junior Initiative to manage and promote the ultimate junior golf
Web site, JuniorLinks.com. Since then, the USGA Grants and Fellowship
department has managed JuniorLinks.com, a golf industry initiative
to accelerate growth and participation in the game. The junior-friendly
golf Web site connects kids, parents, and program directors with
events and opportunities in the golf community. With interactive
tools ranging from Rules of Golf quizzes to greeting cards, to
contests, JuniorLinks.com is packed with exciting ways to get
connected with the game.
In addition to providing resources for juniors,
JuniorLinks.com offers resources for program directors on fundraising,
starting programs and running tournaments as well as opportunities
to share best practices on various topics.
