Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Alabama Inc.

Awarded: $15,000
Purpose: This one-year matching grant will help support the
continuation of the Boys and GirlsClub of Southeast Alabama's after-school, summer,
and Saturday golf programming. USGA funds will specifically support course access,
range access, equipment, and transportation for 50 participants through year-long
programming. This program is available to all club and community members for
a small fee. The majority of participants are from economically disadvantaged
homes.

Huntsville Metropolitan Youth Golf Foundation

Purpose: This grant supports a junior golf program for almost
200 youths who wish to refinetheir game. The program provides golf instruction
through summer clinics, Saturday sessions, and in-school golf lessons, as well
as course and range access. USGA funds will be used for instruction, course access,
range access

Tennessee Valley Jazz Society
Huntsville, Ala.

Purpose: This one-year matching grant will support The First
Tee of Huntsville's summer golf program which will serve nearly 100 youths from
local social service agencies and churches. Participants will receive 72 hours
of instruction during the summer months. USGA funds will go toward certified
instruction, course access, and equipment.

Boys and Girls Club of Miami,

Purpose: This one-year matching grant will help fund the Boys
and Girls Club of Miami's after-school program "Teeing Off in the Inner City." This
program will help reach 45 participants who annually attend these golf sessions.
The funding will be used for instruction, range access, and transportation to
and from the golf
course.

Community Family Center, Inc.

Purpose: This grant supports the expansion of The Community
Family Center's Tee-Stars junior golf program which takes place at The First
Tee of Lauderhill. The program is projected to reach 150 youths through summer
and fall instructional sessions and course access opportunities. USGA funding
will specifically support instruction, equipment, and range access for the program.

Hollywood Diamonds in the Rough Foundation

Purpose: This grant supports the Hollywood Diamonds in the Rough
summer golf program and continued course access opportunities throughout the
year. The program anticipates reaching 430 kids from various social service organizations
in the Hollywood, Florida area. USGA funds will only go toward certified instruction.

Purpose: This grant supports a junior golf program that reaches out to nearly 700 youths each year in Plantation, Florida.
Kids receive instruction within their respective PE classes and then attend golf sessions at the South Florida Junior
Golf Academy. USGA grant funds will be used for certified instruction.

Purpose: This grant suppports the expansion of Tee-Lo Golf's
weekly program that is projected to reach 65 youths in the Orlando, FL area.

The First Tee of St. Johns County
Elkton, Fla.
Awarded: $8,460
Purpose: This two-year grant supports the Family Integrity Program
golf classes at The First Teeof St. Johns County. This specific program focuses
on the development of foster care children in the region. Approximately fourteen
youths will be served in the initial program and the organization projects to
reach 50 participants in subsequent years. All participants will receive The
First Tee Life Skills Certification and the program places an emphasis on helping
participants secure employment after leaving foster care. USGA funds will be
used specifically for instruction and equipment for the program.

Development Corp.
Jacksonville, Fla.

Purpose: This grant supports an after-school junior golf program
that partners with The First Teeof Jacksonville to provide instructional lessons
and access opportunities to 25 participants in Jacksonville's urban core. USGA
funds will be used specifically for scholarships to The First Tee of Jacksonville,
instruction, course
access, equipment, and transportation.

YMCA of West Central Florida
Lakeland, Fla.

Purpose: This grant supports The First Tee of Lakeland
during its first year of operation. The program offers instructional
classes and course access opportunities at the newly renovated YMCA Par-3
course.
Approximately 1,000 youths from
the Lakeland area will use the facility and instructional opportunities
in 2005. USGA funds will be used for PGA certified instruction.

The Babe and George Zaharias Golf Foundation
Tampa, Fla.

Purpose: This grant will support an organization that
serves both economically disadvantaged youth from the Children's Home
of Tampa as well as individuals with disabilities from Camp Florida.
A total
of 300 individuals will receive golf
instruction in the summer and throughout the school year. USGA funds
will be used for certified instruction, golf course access, equipment,
and club repair.

Purpose: This grant will support the construction of the new
The First Tee of Troup County facility in La Grange, GA. The facility will include
a six-hole par-3 course with an attached driving range and practice area. USGA
funding will specifically support the construction of greens and an irrigation
system for the course.

Purpose: This grant supports The First Tee of Savannah's after-school
program which anticipates serving 100 youths throughout the school year. All

to Bacon Park Golf Course outside of programming times for a discounted rate.
USGA funds will go toward certified instruction, course access, and transportation.

Purpose: This grant supports a new program outside of
Athens, GA which offers weekly golf instructional classes. Approximately
500-1000 youths from area schools in two counties will take part

Purpose: This grant will fund the construction of a 3,000 square
foot artificial putting green at the Western Carolina Pacesetter's Adventure
Center. This green will complement the existing driving range, where all junior
golf programs are held. USGA funds will be used for the artificial turf, plumbing
supplies, manufactured sand, beach sand, 4 days of bobcat work, and labor.

Purpose: This grant supports the continuation of The City of
Greensboro's TYGR PAWS junior golf program which is projected to reach 300 youths
through summer clinics. Summer sessions include professional instruction and

disadvantaged youths to attend the Camp Hole-in-One week-long summer

Purpose: This one-year matching grant supports The First Tee
of Wilmington's year-round golf program. Nearly 250 youths from Wilmington, NC

will have access to Echo Farms Golf and Country Club for free during off-peak

Purpose: This grant supports the Pacesetter Junior Golf Program
Clinics that operate from June until August at the Western Carolina Pacesetters
Adventure Center. The program targets youth that come into direct contact with

Purpose: This grant will fund the St. Croix Junior Golfers Association's
year-round program, which will reach 50 kids in 2005-2006. The program will provide
