Philanthropy

The USGA invests significantly in a variety of philanthropic efforts. The Association’s largest philanthropic investment has been through its “For the Good of the Game” Grants Program, which has awarded in excess of $67 million to more than 1,000 organizations that have served millions of young people and individuals with disabilities through golf. The USGA believes that golf is open to everyone.

2011 Grants Update:Thank you for your interest in the USGA Grants program. The USGA will not be accepting grant applications for the 2011 year. The USGA continues to support a number of national alliances designed to positively impact people’s lives through golf and its values. Support for The First Tee, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf sites, Hook a Kid on Golf clinics, and programs for individuals with disabilities remains available through our national grant making partners including The First Tee Home Office, LPGA Foundation, National Alliance for Youth Sports, and National Alliance for Accessible Golf, respectively. Please continue exploring the Philanthropy section to learn more about these and other partnerships.
