Kimberly Erusha serves as managing director of the USGA Green Section and directs the department’s administrative and service functions. The activities include coordinating the Green Section's multi-media education and communication programs pertaining to the USGA's environmental activities, and the development of educational materials directed to golf course superintendents, course officials, golfers, environmental organizations and regulatory officials.   

In addition, she serves as associate editor of the Green Section Record, a weekly professional journal on turfgrass science and golf course management. 

Erusha oversees the Green Section's Turf Advisory Service, a consulting service offered to golf courses by the USGA's 17 regional agronomists and the USGA Turfgrass and Environmental Research Program, the world’s largest turfgrass research grants program. 

Erusha, who joined the USGA in 1990, earned a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Iowa State University, and completed her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Nebraska, specializing in turfgrass management.
