Jessica Carroll
Managing Director, Information Technologies & Digital Media
Jessica Carroll is managing director for Information Technologies & Digital Media and joined the United States Golf Association staff in October 1988. She is responsible for directing the USGA’s technical environment and digital platforms to provide the vision, tools, applications, training, and support to move the USGA forward effectively and in keeping with the Association’s strategic plan.
As managing director, she defines, implements and supports the corporate technology strategy; application and digital design, development, and implementation for all business systems and USGA digital properties, including www.usga.org and www.usopen.com. Carroll also oversees systems operations and infrastructure, including network security, connectivity, and disaster recovery and business resiliency on-site, as well as for the USGA’s cloud hosted environments, more than 30 remote offices, and all USGA championships, including the U.S. Open.
She has been a panelist on the topic of Cloud computing and its applications and business possibilities at several national professional conferences and was a recipient of the 2010 Computer World Premier 100 IT Leaders Award.
Carroll graduated in 1986 from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
She currently resides in Stewartsville, N.J., with her husband, Jim, and their twin sons, Ryan and Dylan.
