Gary R. Stevenson

Gary R. Stevenson, of San Francisco, Calif., is in his second year as a member of the USGA Executive Committee.
Stevenson is a senior-level sports, television and entertainment marketing executive whose career spans 33 years. He most recently served as president of PAC-12 Enterprises, which launched seven television networks and a digital network for the Pac-12 Conference in August 2012. Previously, he was chairman and CEO of OnSport, a leading sports marketing and television consulting firm, which was acquired by Wasserman Media Group in 2007. Prior to founding OnSport, Stevenson served in a number of executive roles, including as president of NBA Properties Marketing and Media Group, as chief operating officer of The Golf Channel when it launched and as executive vice president of Business Affairs for the PGA TOUR. Stevenson earned an undergraduate degree from Duke University and an MBA from George Washington University.
Stevenson is a member of the President’s Council for the 2014 U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open at Pinehurst Resort, and has served on the board of the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He has also served on the Gator Bowl Committee, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce NFL Task Force and a number of advisory boards at Duke University, where he was a visiting professor for eight years.
In 2013, Stevenson will chair the Members and Course/Club Membership, and Mid-Amateur Committees and will serve on the Championship, Commercial, Communications, Compensation and Senior Amateur Committees.
