Robert Tibbetts Mid-Continent Region

Robert Tibbetts was selected for the 2010 Internship Program to travel in the Mid-Continent Region.  Robert currently is a senior at Kansas State University majoring in golf course management and hospitality management under the advisement of Dr. Jack Fry.

Robert grew up in Liberal, KS and began golfing at the age of six.  He became interested in golf course maintenance and the business side of golf during high school while playing competitively across the state.  Since then, he has enjoyed the challenge of maintaining and improving various aspects of golf course operations.

Robert has interned at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, IN, and Dallas Country Club in Dallas, TX.  He will complete his final internship at the Tahoe Mountain Club in Truckee, CA this summer before graduating in December.
